Emily's Lemonade Stand

For the children of Kenya, Africa

My Traveling Lemonade Stands for Kenya

My name is Emily and I am ten years old. I feel like God is asking me to help people and make a difference in the world.

My goal is to raise $360,000 to build an orphanage complex for the Kipsongo Slum in Kitale, Kenya. I raise the money by setting up lemonade stands and asking people to donate $1.

How much has been raised?

$17,251.99

I started by asking 8,000 people to donate $1 to help feed the people of the Kipsongo Slum in Kitale, Kenya. I reached my first goal of $8,000 and the missionaries fed 2,500 people for 10 days!

I raise the money by taking lemonade stands to schools, churches, businesses, social organizations, stores, etc. I give people a glass of lemonade and tell them about the people of Kipsongo, then I ask them for a donation.

We can change the world one dollar and one glass of lemonade at a time !
